DesignerYONi...My Creative Venture

I started my foray into ArtWear in 2015 when my first child was born and I was born into a mother.

​

This was a time of incredible change for me in so many ways and as a very creative person I knew I needed to create something to keep this new version of me - connected / sane / free / evolving in a way that really ignited all of me.

​

At the time I had no idea that painting and designing was to do exactly that, but today looking back I can clearly see how it connected all the parts of me that made up me (whoever that was, right!).

 

This art spoke to the yogi in me, the mother, philosopher, designer, marketer, therapist, healer, seeker, traveller, heck, the freedom fighter in me was all speaking as one. 

 

It was purely through playing around that I brought my painted art into the digital world of mirroring and filters and waheee THE MANDALA WAS BORN!

 

I must have made about a hundred mandala's before I realised that;

(1) I had a mandala addiction, and

(2) there was something powerful happening here.

 

The digital mandala brought about more beauty in the art than I could have ever imagined.

Every mandala was different but always they were exceptional.

 

Something magical was happening here. 

 

Today my work continues to evolve and explore this concept in high vibration art+wear across my own work and in facilitating creative workshops with others...and I love it, This work has brought me back home...to myself.
